Statement:

My practice involves rearranging existing objects, language and periods of time.  In creating these new structures I attempt to create or join in with a dialogue around them.  Though making objects gives the work a still quality, it is through duration that it exists.  By looping videos, I preserve their subjects,  such as the sun at the highest point in a day.  In drawing out moments like these I am exploring my own capabilities and power as an artist to set up relationships between things and people.
